I swear, every time I stop watching micronations something stranger and more inexplicable comes up. Apparently this time you've... declared half of Maraguo island some sort of half-independent country and brought back some of the old names and customs? When did the islands even go unclaimed? They've been occupied for years.
There has to be some sort of weird story behind all this. Come on, spill it, I'm really curious.
If I didn't see the Jasonian golden eagle up there, I wouldn't really believe it wasn't some sort of odd coincidence.

You want the WHOLE story? Well, it all started when two Kildarians started playing CoD 2 .... [skip a number of months] And so we found Matbaa off the island and started claiming it. But New Brittannia claimed it too. So the Kaiser suggested war. What madness. Bosworth (a Britannian papel state) tried to "intervene" and so was "invaded" and it all got pretty mad for a while. Well, Shireroth soundly trumped them, with help from Interland and Batavie, so we said "Let's split the isle and claim it." But certain members of the MCS council don't want Shireroth getting more land, so Batavie helped us set up Maraguo - the Shirithian-Batavian puppet state, largely for preserving key lands that Shireroth can't get their hands on. Hence this island. What you might be more interested in is this: maraguo.proboards80.com/index.cgi?board=grooteschuur&action=display&thread=69&page=1

Puppet state? Yes, maybe. But if a MCS council member reads this: NO WAY! We are NOT a puppet state!
